In accordance with the provisions of European and Italian privacy legislation, please note that Banca d’Italia, located at via Nazionale 91, Rome, processes personal data relating to its employees collected in the course of staff training activities.

The data are processed electronically using appropriate security measures to guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data and to prevent access by unauthorized third parties or personnel. Data processing is carried out for the purposes of staff management and, in particular, of the providing training. The performance of tasks that are instrumental to the pursuit of Banca d’Italia’s public interest mandate and the fulfilment of the obligations arising from the employment relationship constitute the legal basis for data processing.

The personal data collected will be retained for a period of 10 years from the termination of the employment contract.

The Data Processor is Core Consulting SpA – the training provider used by Banca d’Italia – and it fulfils all regulatory requirements.

The data can be disclosed to the Acting Head of the Professional Development Directorate, as well as to the Directorate staff authorized to process the data.

Data subjects have the right to access personal data and any and all rights recognized by law, including the right to obtain the rectification, completion, erasure and anonymization of personal data or blocking of unlawfully processed data, as well as the right to object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing, in whole or in part, of such data.
